Take the ferry from the foot of Bay Street to Wards Island or to Centre Island. Call the Ferry Docks for departure times or click on the Ferry Schedule. It’s a 20-25 minute walk from the Ward’s Island Dock, and about 15 minutes from Centre Island Dock. Every Sunday, the church van meets the ferry arriving at the Ward’s Island dock around 10:00ish depending on the ferry schedule, so if you’d like a ride, take the ferry arriving at Ward’s around 10:00.
To transport goods,carts are available for rent from the Ferry Service or use water taxis.
