Dear Friends of St Andrew’s,
On Sunday September the 13th at 10.30am
Services will resume in this Church.
We will be doing things differently as we respect the need to keep everyone safe here during worship.
Only 30 people can be in the Church at a time. As we usually have less than that, we don’t feel too worried about numbers!!
Everyone must have a mask on at all times.
We will not be singing together.
We will be respecting 6’ of social distancing and many pews are roped off for distancing.
We will have communion and blessings, but with wafers only, no wine, and careful distancing.
We are asking people not to use the washroom except in urgent need.
There are instructions in that room for you to sanitize everything you touched before leaving to make it safe for anyone else.
Sadly we cannot host any food or drink in the building.
But while the weather is warm you can spread out on the lawns to chat and catch up with each other,
in “bubbles” or at a social distance.
When you come in there will be someone to greet you at the door and explain the steps we will be taking together for safety
Then there will be another person as you enter the back of the church to take your Contact Tracing information and to give you the material you need for the service.
As you move into the seating area another person will guide you through the “traffic pattern” we are using for safety. Don’t worry about making a mistake! There will be plenty of understanding people to set you right!
